Meindl Lederhosen Tauern

The Meindl Lederhosen Tauern Glacier is a short lederhosen made from 100% deer leather in glacier. Deer leather is a natural product; each pair may vary individually in colour and texture. Deer leather responds strongly to body heat and expands noticeably over time; buying one size smaller is recommended. The fit is regular cut with no stretch. The closure consists of the traditional bib front (Latz) at the top and antler buttons (Hirschhornknöpfe) at the sides. The embroidery is an elaborate relief stitch worked in tone-on-tone, partly hand-stitched by local craftswomen from the region. At the back, an adjustable gusset (Zwickel) allows for stepless size adjustment. The length is 50 cm in short cut. The Meindl lederhosen is produced in Upper Bavaria.
